What Is Ozone and What Is It Used For?
Ozone (O3), AKA “Activated Oxygen” is a gas molecule with 3 oxygen atoms making it a powerful oxidant that can be used to destroy odors, bacteria and viruses.
How Does Ozone Work?
The third oxygen atom of ozone makes it highly reactive when it encounters other substances. This “extra” atom easily attaches itself to other molecules converting them into something else. This process is called oxidation. Once Ozone has done its job, it converts into simple (O2) Oxygen making it a great environmentally friendly option for sanitation and odor removal.
Precautions To Take While Using Any Fan Ozone
The ozone generator dose not have an On/Off switch and starts generating O3 gas as soon as it’s plugged in to an electrical outlet. So always make sure the fan is running while the ozone generator is plugged in. Adequate air flow will keep the ozone generator cool and maximize its life. Without airflow, the ozone generator will overheat and the life of the unit will be shortened.
Prolonged exposure to O3 can irritate and inflame the respiratory system. So always wear protective clothing and proper respirator. DO NOT operate the unit with people, plants or pets present. After use, ventilate treated area thoroughly.

Compared to Wet fogging …
If there are paper goods like you find around an office or like you see on a husband’s office desk, you might get in big trouble with wet fogging because the paper gets damp from the humidity and curls up on the edges. Ask me how I know.
On the other hand, ozone treatments are DRY.
Short blasts of Ozone from strategically placed Any Fan Ozone Generators are very effective at killing odors and the organisms that cause odors.
Two hours on and two hours off run throughout the night with a 30 minutes of air-ing out period the next morning and you get nothing but smiles and Thankyous.
Uses of the Fan Ozone:
Another good business is car lots. Depends on the output and severity but most guys are spending 15 minutes per vehicle with my 20gph unit, half hour with the 16gph. Strap them to small squirrel cage fans with vehicle running with window cracked and AC running. Use a commercial AC Adapter in your van for power conversion.
