The female reducer Cool Cuff is threaded inside to fit 1.5″ diameter vacuum hose. It allows you to couple a 2″ diameter vac hose to a 1.5″ hose. Used mostly in stepping down to a “whip” hose for an upholstery tool or a carpet wand. It includes the Reducer Insert so that it can slide on directly to a metal 1.5″ stair or upholstery tool. (See gallery photos)

Hello, what is the difference between this and the other item: Cool Cuffs™ Reducer with Insert? Can I use the "Cool Cuffs™ Reducer with Insert" to directly reduce my 2" and use it with my 1.5" wand "please note that I don`t have any other cool cuffs parts"? Thank you Andrea
