Chemical resistant plastic coil restricts excessive bends and protects vacuum hoses from abrasion and external damage, increases hose life to reduce the number of repairs and frequency of maintenance. This restrictor is constructed of strong polyethylene material designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, solvents, and machine oils. Approximate length is 15 inches. Absolutely fantastic. Place it anywhere your hose gets stressed. At the reel, at the cuff or where doors close on it repeatedly. Could not be happier. Simple Easy fix.

Update. My Evolution wand was getting scraped when using under beds. I put the spiral wrap on the tube to protect it from metal bed frames. Works fantastic. Looks cool on wand and is effective at keeping paint on the wand.

It is helpful but does add weight and really needs to be able to be secured to the hose cuff in order for it not to creep down the vacuum hose and require adjustments all the time. Get that solved and it would be great.
