I use this on my Rotovac only. To keep it secure I have wrapped some tape around the Rotovac tube to snug it on so it stays put.

I use this to step down from my 2" hose to my 1.5" wand and it works flawlessly. It stays put and you don't lose any vacuum! Get one...You won't be disappointed!
