This stainless steel Top Hat Strainer Assembly is placed before your trigger valve and filters out foreign material that could clog or damage your trigger valve. A must for every wand. See Exploded View of The Ultimate Soft Touch Trigger Valve for more info.
We highly recommend a little JB-Weld be used in addition to PTFE tape when installing this item to insure a good seal.
Consider purchasing additional Strainers (without the whole assembly) for quick swap outs when on the job.

I received top hat strainer assembly and it’s not as it was described on the website and invoice. The assembly came with copper adaptor.

We don’t use copper in this trade. The part you’re referring to is made of brass. The brass part is used because it makes for a better seal against the stainless threads of the adapter. The product was well thought put and proven by real cleaners as the best way to go. How long have you been in the trade?
