The Silver Bullet™ (RC99) is a nearly maintenance free vacuum filter. Simply pop open the port lid and hose off the debris from the disposable liner or better yet use the Wash Downer and blast the debris to the bottom of the filter and you’re all set and ready for the next job.
No special connectors/reducers are required. Simply use the hose and cuff combo you already have. (Although we do recommend our famous Cool Cuffs™ ).

I decided to purchase this filter to replace my plastic hydro-filter. I am amazed at the improvement of my vacuum by just using this bigger filter. The wire mesh basket allows more air flow than the hydro-filter and it has twice the capacity to hold debris. If you don’t whistle while you work, your wand will with this filter!

Awesome filter. The new features that were added make a great filter even better. The feet make it very stable, and the position of the truck side vac ports make for a more efficient filter ( less pooling water in filter) Lid fits perfect. This is my third silver bullet great product.

I’ve spent 20 years dealing with the standard plastic piece of crap filters that we all know and hate. Recently I’ve been switching to Wanders, and I decided to check their filters out after the lid on my plastic one broke yet again. The Silver Bullet is a BEAST. Beyond the cool stainless steel look, it’s sturdy and built to last. I was also provided with a steel mesh filter with several of the “bag style” filters to go with it… which would come with an additional charge with other vendors. Plastic is for children… step up to the Silver Bullet, you won’t regret it.

Im very happy with this filter. Before i one of those clear filters and this one blows it out of the water. My vacuum was also greatly increased because i got the two 2″ inputs in the rear and added an extra hose from my waste tank. I know its not gonna last forever but for the price i am satisfied.

Just purchased my 2nd filter in 8 years on same truck. Probably would last a lifetime on someone else’s truck, but I beat it up everyday.
I think it could be improved a little if the rear ports were lower to prevent pooling of residual water and possibly a latched front lid.

I think its pretty Nice for the price point. One thing I dont like is how the water tends to pool up in it. Maybe if the rear outlet was welded on at the ver bottom of the back it would help. Overall very satisfied with it so far.

Just put these filter on one of our vortex . I wanted to the difference from my stock filters. Wow much better air flow and some much easier to clean with the filter bags. Also my recovery tank is nice and clean. So now I’m putting these filter on all 3 of our vortex.

I’ve tried a lot of filters. For the most part, we’ve had good luck with all but most recently, used the Mytee Lint Hogs on 6 trucks. Mytee changed their cuffs and the product went from acceptable to crap overnight. Compared a few inline filters before making a decision to switch and all things considered (mainly performance and cost), the Bullet was an easy decision. I like the fact that all the replacement parts are readily available and besides one cage separating at the welds, we’ve had no issues. Will continue to use and recommend.

Great product. Maintains good airflow – easy to open and change filter liner – parts/gaskets are easy to obtain should you need them… but it will be rare you do.
I have had mine a few years now and the only issue I have had was with the 2″ port… the weld gave way and the port came off. Easy fix… simply had it rewelded back on . Never had a problem since.

Really like the silver bullet filter. It increases your vacuum flow and is easy to clean out using the mesh filter liners. Get you a wash downer from Joe and spray down the sides of the mesh liner in between jobs. Very happy with the Silver Bullet.

Really like how much sturdier this is than the clear plastic screw top filters. I think it’s going to take a beating and keep working for a long time. The canister is bigger than what we used before and it seems to improve airflow . We got 2.5″ inlet and outlet – even though most of the time we run 2″ from the filter to the wand, just to make sure we didn’t put an air restriction in. We use the filter socks and get pretty good life out of them. Get the big stuff out while its wet and after it dries the rest flakes off.

We currently run this on three vans. It is a durable product. We are no longer worried about out technicians breaking the plastic bullets we’ve used in the past. The reusable mesh filters save us from constantly buying other single use filters. Its great having the changeable lid as well allowing us the ability to have one filter for two lines.

Inline filter. I’ve had the silver bullet for 3+ years. The thing catches all the extra debris and it’s a great thing to show customer at the end of the job. Every reply is “oh my god”. The only thing this thing has needed replaced is the front gaskets maybe twice a year to keep it sealed air tight, only a few bucks.. but it’s strong and has even fallen out of the truck a few times. Don’t forget to pressure wash it down at the end of each day with the “Wash Downer” to get rid of the stank we pull out each job,

I placed an order for the silver bullet with two ports on truck end and also purchased some more of solution line for carpet cleaning, I received the solution and called Joe to check where the silver bullet is ?
Joe decided not to sell me the silver bullet filter because I did not commit on buying the filter liners from him even when I explained to him that I was buying his filter because of the two ports to hook two truckmounts into one filter for a long stretch of vacuum lines for a better suction performance .
To me is just bad business, It would be the same thing if I went to a customer’s house and told him that I am not cleaning one room if you don’t have me clean the entire carpet in the house and tell the customer that I am not making money on cleaning just one room.

So I bought this to replace my plastic filter been using Joe’s filter liners for the last year finally decided to upgrade my filter. Wow this is so much nicer then the pos plastic one I had should of done this a yr ago. it’s sturdy doesn’t move around when you connect your hose to it.
